Do you require proof of vaccinations? Yes, we do require proof of current rabies vaccination before your pet can be groomed. For your pet’s health and safety, he or she should be up to date on all vaccinations.
How often should my pet be groomed? Regular grooming is crucial to maintaining the health of your pet’s skin and coat. We recommend that your pet be groomed every 2, 4 or 6 weeks depending on the length of the coat and how much brushing you do at home. Since appointment space is limited, it is recommended that you be on a regular maintenance schedule.
How will I know when you will arrive? Easy, when you make your appointment, I will give you a two hour window as to when I will arrive. I will do my best to adhere to that arrival time and will call you immediately if I have been delayed. Most pets are groomed within 1-2 hours.
Do I have to be home? No, however you should be home during the first appointment so I can get to know both you and your pet. After the first appointment or two, we can make arrangements so that I can groom your pet without your presence.
Is mobile grooming more expensive than shop grooming? Yes, mobile grooming prices are typically $25 more than shop prices. For this, you are getting the convenience of not having to make 4 trips to the groomer. Your pet won’t need to wait hours at a groom shop while waiting to be groomed and won’t be exposed to other animals. Your pet will receive individual attention in a relaxing, stress-free environment.
Do you use our electricity or water? No, our state of the art mobile grooming van is fully self-contained. We supply our own power and water and are climate controlled.
What forms of payment do you accept? I accept cash, check or credit cards. Payment is due at time of service. There is a $30 fee for returned checks.
How do I make an appointment? Please call or text me at 252-342-5656 and provide me with the following: your name, address and phone number, your pet’s breed and age, last time your pet was groomed, what type of grooming schedule you would like and any special needs that your pet has. If I am unable to answer your call during business hours, it is because I am currently driving or working with a client. I will return your call or text as soon as possible, typically within 24 hours.
